For his appearance on Kabel 1’s hit format “Mein Lokal, dein Lokal,” chef and restaurateur Ronny Marzin wanted to breathe new life into his old Internet presence. Since such an opportunity to generate reach does not come along every day for restaurant operators, the expectations for the relaunch were correspondingly high. Another special feature of the development was the required resilience to any performance peaks that might occur after the broadcast.
For the design, we opted for a simple appearance; the design was to fade into the background so that the photos of individual dishes and meals could have a better impact. For the problem of short-term performance spikes, the site uses content delivery networks (CDN).
